So what makes this palletizing and unitizing system so efficient? The SKID-LOCK® Palletizing and Unitizing System Consists of Three Easy Steps:

1. SKID-LOCK®, a water-based Food Packaging Adhesive, is applied on top of each item before being palletized using one of three types of manual or automatic adhesive applicators.
2. The packages are then placed on the pallet or slip-sheet where a unique adhesive bond forms that is high in shear strength (to hold during the side-to-side motion encountered during transportation) and low in tensile strength (up and down movement). If needed, stretch wrap is then applied to the top two tiers of packages.
3. When the customer receives the pallet, they simply pick the package up to break the bond cleanly with no damage to the packaging.
