Acrylic Coatings for Canvas and Paper Prints

Acrylic Coatings for Canvas and Paper Prints for Wall ArtGluefast is dedicated to providing the most advanced adhesives and acrylic coatings for canvas and paper prints. In addition to the line of high quality adhesives and application products, the innovative Craquelure texture gel coatings for wall art provides a distinctive texture with a rich crackled surface finish that resembles a thick impasto surface of dried paint. Available in a matte, semi-gloss, or high-gloss finish, Gluefast's Craquelure texture gel coatings for wall art enhance the look of photos, posters, paintings, prints, and more, with a finish that can be applied in different ways to resemble a paint-brush look or a canvas-type appearance.

By using an acid-free water based acrylic polymer coating in a flowable gel form, Gluefast's Craquelure texture gel coatings for wall art can be applied with a paint brush, roller, or pallet knife directly onto a canvas giclee, poster, or photograph. After being stretched or mounted, the art piece can be protected with the wall art coating. A paint brush gives a handmade look. Using a paint roller offers a more evenly textured surface. For added texture, a 1/2” or higher nap roller applies a thicker surface of the wall art coatings. Some people use a paint roller to apply a matte finish, and then apply a semi-gloss or high-gloss finish with a paint brush to highlight certain areas. A non-absorbing foam roller applies a thin surface of the canvas and paper print coatings onto the print, and is usually applied in one direction and allowed to dry. A second coat is applied 90 degrees from the first application for a textured linen/canvas-type look. Acrylic coatings for canvas and paper prints can also be applied using Gluefast’s Senator Top Coat Gluer. Used for high production runs, the Senator Top Coat Gluer can apply wall art coatings on substrates up to ½” (13mm) thick with variable coating thickness and speed control.

Craquelure texture gel coatings for wall art are white when applied, but dry to a clear finish with a distinct texture. These acrylic coatings for canvas and paper prints are available in quarts, gallons, five-gallon pails, and 55-gallon drums. Coverage averages 256 square feet per gallon.

Whether you are a novice or a professional, you will enjoy the added surface option these canvas and paper print coatings provide.
