Many palletized loads are inherently unstable and the tendency is to “use more stretch wrap”. Sometimes the addition of corner boards can help, as can slip sheets between some of the layers of products. All of this adds to the amount of solid waste generated which the receiver has to deal with.

SKID-LOCK is our water based palletizing adhesive designed to reduce the need for stretch wrap without adding to solid waste issues. The use of SKID-LOCK with stretch wrap could eliminate the need for corner boards while greatly decreasing the amount of wrap needed. In some cases you may be able to get away with stretch wrap only around the top two tiers.

With very flat packages, such as 50 pound multi-wall bags of chemicals or food products, you might be able to eliminate stretch wrap all together! And the bonus is… SKID-LOCK costs less! It’s a win-win situation!
